More than just interest...

Hudson has been taking notice lately.... Something looks different!

Maybe drawing on it will help... it sure doesn't look like my chalkboard!

And since it is not all about Hudson (though he wishes it was), a picture of the radiant mama, just weeks before Mother's Day.

Spring has sprung!

And mama has decided to celebrate it and week 16 with Hud by planting flowers. Hudson loves to help, as you can see, but sometimes....
he gets distracted by that beautiful belly that is the current home to his future sibling. If only it were so easy to keep him entertained, because as soon as we turn around, he's off. He runs out of the backyard so quickly, that...

daddy has had to spend some time building a fence to keep the critter corralled. Of course, he hasn't done it all himself. There was a small gathering the previous weekend (the day before the floods) to help dig the holes and set the posts. We are all very grateful to all who helped.

It's All Relative

Look at mama's lovely belly at week 15. We feel like its already getting so big!

and then our dear friend Jen stopped by who is about 8 months pregnant. Whoa, we have a looooonnnngggg way to go.

Can you spot the differences?

Here she is at week 14, she has been back to the cold- the long sleeves come out, even for an Easter brunch. Regardless, she sure is a beautiful mama and mama-to-be!

And here is another 13 week photo-as you can see it was a nice warm time in Florida. She shows off her tan nicely in her little tank-top.

13 weeks have come and gone and gone again

So here is what my darling wife looks like the second time around at the end of the first trimester. I'm glad she's decided to show off that beautiful belly this time around.

And here is what she looked like last time (a bit over two years ago). It seems that the belly is a little more prominent the second time around- I guess the body has a memory of its own- it knows exactly what to do this time.
